I will certainly assist you with this issue. Here are few troubleshooting steps you may try in order to fix the issue.
Method 1: Run the Hardware troubleshooter and check.
Follow the steps to run the troubleshooter:
a. Press Windows key + C on your keyboard to show the Charms bar, click on search.
b. Type Troubleshooting and click Troubleshooting under Settings.
c. Now type Hardware Troubleshooter in the search option.
d. Click on Hardware troubleshooter to run the troubleshooter.
Method 2: Download the latest USB drivers from the Manufacturer’s website.
You can install Windows 7 drivers in compatibility mode if there are no Windows 8 compatible drivers.
