Virtua Fighter Free Download for PC (Japanese: バーチャファイターHepburn: Bācha Faitā?) is a 1993 fighting gamecreated for the Sega Model 1 arcade platform byAM2, a development group within Sega, headed byYu Suzuki. It is the first game in the Virtua Fighterseries, and the first arcade fighting game to feature fully 3D polygon graphics. It has been ported to several platforms, including the Sega Saturn, Sega 32X and Microsoft Windows. It was a launch gamefor the Saturn, and served as the pack-in launch game in North America. This PC port of an arcade mega-hit did not sell well simply because of its hefty system requirements (P133 and 32MB of RAM three years ago, when the majority of gamers still didn't have a Pentium).
Still, the game was revolutionary in many ways: it has true 3D fighters and arenas, over 700 moves that rely solely on martial arts without supernatural powers, and separate endings for each character. It sets the standard for Virtua Fighter 2 and 3, which up the ante with more characters and better, 3D-accelerated graphics.
