Lenovo Sound Drivers Windows 7

Windows 7: Lenovo, windows 7 64, no sound. First suggestion. Go to the Device Manager, RIGHT click on the RealTek entry and then LEFT click 'Uninstall'. DO NOT check the box to also uninstall the drivers. Restart the PC and when Windows starts it will detect and reinstall the sound. If there were any Windows corruptions, this will fix it. Lenovo

I am using Lenovo thinkpad yoga 2. When I bought it, the OS installed was Win 8.1 , and sound driver Conexant.

After I upgrade it to Win 10, I am getting the sound problem. Everything is working fine except the sound.

After upgrade of my OS, I installed the Conexant latest sound driver from the Lenovo site, but still remains the sound problem.

After close study I understand that, as long as the Conexant driver is active and running, sound is working fine. The moment the Microsoft Audio driver get installed automatically, and over rides the Conexant, sound went out. When the Microsoft Audio driver get installed automatically, the Conexant driver faded out.

To get rid of this problem, I uninstall the Microsoft Audio driver and restart the laptop and sound comes back again.

This inconsistency in sound is there in my laptop for last 3 months, since the day I upgrade to Win 10 Home edition. Its frustrating to see unpredictable outcome of the sound driver.

Lenovo

Please help me to fix this problem which has been my headache for quite long time.

I spoke to the customer care of Microsoft, and they said, they have given the required instruction to all the vendors who are making the sound drivers, but it is the Lenovo who has not yet come up with a fix for Win 10 home edition Sound driver. So they are completely blaming Lenovo for this mal functioning. Support personal is saying, Microsoft has nothing to do in this regard, its the Lenovo who has to take care of its sound driver.

Thanks
